After four years with EGCOA, we are to announce that John King, our part-time Communications & Project Manager, recently moved on from the Association to concentrate on his golf marketing business, Digital Distilla.
With the grand goal of growing golf sales, one facility at a time, John and Digital Distilla specialise in providing golf businesses with a system of digital marketing tools to help them with marketing to their customers.
As a freelancer, John has always built beautiful golf club websites but now integrating them with customer database software and social media advertising, he’s delivering amazing results for clients.
“Working with member clubs over the last four years highlighted how many people are struggling to attract members and grow sales” said John “Profitability in the golf club model relies heavily on success in sales, so we’ve developed a really easy to use, integrated marketing system that delivers results.”
Client, Richard Weeks, Director of Golf at Hunley Hotel & Golf Club in the UK continues, “at Hunley we’ve enjoyed five months of record sales out of the last eight since we launched our new website built by John. We were confident of good results but even we’ve been surprised at the speed at which the new system has had an impact on our bottom line.”
