The Dutch Golf Course Owners Association (NVG) has announced the launch of Golf Restaurant Week. The new initiative based on the popular Dutch restaurant week is aimed at attracting residents of the local community tothe golf course for dinner. The site www.golfrestaurantweek.nl will be launched in the New Year and will offer guests the opportunity to purchase a voucher for
€20 – €30 for a set menu at up to 60 golf courses throughout the Netherlands from the 12-19th April
Lodewijk Klootwijk NVG Director said ‘So many residents in local communities are unaware that their local golf course is an excellent option for lunch or an evening meal. We aim to spread the awareness that the golf course is not just a facility limited to playing golf.’’
